Is Peak Centre Academy accredited by the Ministry of Education?

Peak Centre Academy is registered with the Ministry of Education. Our Principal and teachers are certified by the Ontario College of Teachers. The transition to and from our private school to the public school board will be unproblematic as we are using the same Ontario grade specific curriculum.

When do you accept applications?

For elementary classrooms that are not at capacity – we can accept new applications at any time throughout the year. As our secondary grades follow the semester system – we can accept applications at any time, but new students can only start at the beginning of a new semester.
Preference is given to returning students in good standing. Our cut-off date for returning students is April 30th. If the classroom is not full; we will consider late applications.

Do you have scholarships available?

Presently no scholarship is available. We have created The Peak Academy Scholarship Fund to address this need for the coming years.

Will my child have to stop playing for their regular team?

Definitely not. The Peak Academy athletes all play for their regular association teams. Our program in no way will impede on your child’s regular hockey season

What are the fees?

All of our tuition and fee information can be found on the Registration and Fees page. Additional fees for some tournaments and outings may apply using a cost recovery charge by participants. These will be discussed and voted on by the parents well in advance.

Are there before and after school programs?

Peak does their best to accommodate families with our before and after school programs. Our doors are open 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
