At Peak Centre Academy, we want to give passionate entrepreneurs the opportunity to provide their community with innovative education tools, optimal athletic development or a combination of both. We are dedicated to offering a variety of options for academic success along with the ability to develop athletic skills during the school day.

The concept is truly unique in that we offer blended learning opportunities and individual training solutions for optimal athletic development. Students do not have to be athletes to take advantage of our system. Focus can be on academics only or a combination of academics and athletics. Those that do want to pursue athletic achievement can do so with the testing and training models developed by our sister company – Peak Centre for Human Performance; a world leader in the Sport Science field.

Our continued commitment to cutting edge quality programming, customer service, value and community leadership has contributed to Peak Centre Academy becoming a recognized leader in Educational and Sport Science services.

Franchise Costs and What’s Included:

The investment in a Peak Centre Academy franchise ranges from $90 000.00 to $375 000.00 depending on the size, location, rent and cost of leasehold improvements. In addition to the start up costs, franchisees must have $100 000.00 in unencumbered cash and liquid assets to cover operating costs for the first year of operation.

On-going costs include a royalty of 8% of gross sales paid monthly for the term of the agreement. At the end of each five year period of the agreement and at the sole discretion of the Peak Centre Academy head office, franchises may be required to refurbish their facility in order to meet Peak Centre Academy standards.

Included:

  • a one week training program at the head office in Ottawa, ON
  • our crew assisting in the opening of your Peak Centre Academy
  • the use of all Peak Centre Academy courses, manuals and intellectual property
  • the right to use the Trademarks and Trade names
  • Ongoing support from the head office personnel

Selection Process

The selection of new Peak Centre Academy owners involves an extensive interview/approval process. Not everyone who applies for a franchise meets the criteria to be a Peak Centre Academy franchisee. We strive to ensure that each owner possesses the necessary entrepreneurial drive, management skills, financial means and dedication needed to succeed in today’s market.

Training Program and Support Team

Training Program

New Franchisees undergo an intensive training program at the head office, located in Ottawa, Ontario. The training includes classroom and hands-on work, providing the training experience in all aspects of running a Peak Centre Academy business. A strong emphasis is placed on the Academic tools developed by our head office and the training systems that are the backbone of the Peak Centre Academy business, with significant time dedicated to staff development, client recruitment and business processes.

Support Team

The principal owners of the Peak Centre Academy take an active role in the development and success of their franchises, providing business support. In addition, staff dedicated to education, sport science, equipment selection, administration are available at all times.
